Coca-Cola has launched legal action against Vue following the cinema chain’s switch to PepsiCo as its soft drinks supplier.
The lawsuit, filed by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Great Britain, seeks to recover alleged unpaid debts after the companies’ 25-year partnership ended.
Vue selected PepsiCo last year as its exclusive supplier across Europe until at least 2030.
Vue’s chief executive, Tim Richards, said the dispute involved under £100,000 and could have been resolved without lawyers.
Vue confirmed the winding-up petition has been withdrawn and said no money is now outstanding.
